![]() | INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE on BRAIN ENERGY METABOLISM |

Abstract SubmissionsAbstracts are required for all invited speakers and poster presenters. Abstracts must be submitted no later than March 1, 2026 for inclusion in the conference program. Student and Post-Doc poster presenters will participate in the Poster Blitz sessiona (June 29 & 30). Each Poster Blitz talk will be limited to 1 slide/1-minute and should emphasize the major research results/highlights so conferees come to the poster for more detailed discussions. |
Travel awards for students and post-docs will be available for the meeting. We anticipate providing about 20-25 travel stipends, depending on available funding, that will be awarded to students and postdoctoral fellows on a competitive basis. Candidates for travel awards must submit their abstracts by January 10, 2026.
To apply for a travel award, you must submit an abstract for the meeting and fully complete the Travel Award Eligibility section on the abstract submission form, including the following fields:
Travel Grant Notification Update
Please be advised that travel grant notifications will be issued on February 20, rather than the previously announced date of February 2. If you are selected for a Travel Award, you must confirm your acceptance and REGISTER to attend the meeting by March 7, 2026.

Posters will be mounted to the boards using thumbtacks. ICBEM will provide 4 tacks per poster, but we suggest bringing additional tacks if you have a heavyweight paper or fabric, or if you plan to laminate your poster.
